An established insurance agency is looking to recruit an Azure Support Engineer to act as the main point of contact for 3rd Line Azure support, supporting around 200 users. You will manage the Azure environment, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, and lead the technical aspects of various application and infrastructure projects.
Essential skills/Responsibilities:
* Virtualization Platforms: Expertise with Azure, VMware, or Hyper-V, and operating systems Windows Server 2019/2022.
* Cloud Services: Proficiency in cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 Stack, Exchange Online.
* Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and task simplification.
* Backup and Recovery Software: Experience with tools like AvePoint, Veeam, BackupExec, or Redstor for data integrity and recovery.
* Familiarity with ITIL framework.
* Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, servers, and infrastructure.
* Monitor networks and systems, liaise with the NOC for smooth operations.
* Cabling and network patch management.
