Salary: Newly Qualified £40,777 - £45,091 Qualified £46,142 - £49,282 Location: Derby / Field work Team Hours: 37 hours a week Closing Date: 24 May 2026 Contract Type: Permanent We currently seeking a permanent full time Qualified Social Worker post in the Fieldwork Team at the Integrated Disabled Childrens service. The service supports children and families where there is a child with a moderate to severe Learning Disability. In the Fieldwork Team you will undertake work with children and families at Child In Need, Child Protection and Care Proceedings and support Looked After Children. You will also be required to write section 7 reports for private proceedings and undertake permanency work including Adoption. You will also complete assessments and court applications when applying the Mental Capacity Act where there is a Deprivation of Liberty. Joining us as a Social Worker, we try to provide everything you need to feel happy that you're doing the best possible job. Working alongside your Team Manager, you'll carry out child-focused assessments, developing appropriate service plans to ensure the most positive outcomes for vulnerable children. You will be part of an established and supportive team with a Senior Practitioner, have access to regular supervision, peer support and continuing professional development opportunities.
