Production Engineer Responsibilities Quotation Support - Review RFQ documentation and drawings provided by customers and assist with the preparation of costed quotations for electronic assemblies and cable assemblies, including costed bills of material and the identification of suitable alternative components for obsolete or long lead parts. This will include data input to the company ERP system. Technical Support - Provide technical assistance to resolve documentation and manufacturing issues within the Electronics Workshop and also to provide Technical Support for all relevant issues within the department and company. Inspection & Testing - Provide support to perform test, fault finding and inspection, to achieve the quality of manufacture required by customers, drawings and specifications (normally to Class 2 or 3 of IPC-610 or IPC-620). Workload Planning - Monitor levels of workload and report to the OME in advance of any possibilities that current tasks may require additional resources to be provided. Workplace Safety - Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and provide guidance to Workshop staff. The ESE shall be mindful of risk at all times and immediately report safety risks to the OME so that preventative action can be undertaken.
