SEN Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for schools in and around Bristol.
Previous experience is desirable. You must show a passion and a willingness to learn and grow as a Teaching Assistant!
The role:
* Giving 1:1 support to student(s) who may be struggling with the curriculum due to their needs.
* Help to adapt and tailor learning from class teacher for student(s) so that they can feel and be successful.
* Communicate well with staff, colleagues and parents/carers via telephone/email professionally when necessary.
* Being a positive role model for student and using school reward system fairly to encourage positive attitudes and behaviours.
* Use classroom behaviour management skills to help assist student(s) in demonstrating positive behaviour and overcoming their barriers to learning.
Role is open to university graduates, individuals wanting to gain experience to support future career opportunities.
