This client is based in Irlam, due to its location you must be able to reach the site by car, a lift, a taxi/bike. Public transport unfortunately does not work in this area and we do not want to set you up to fail and struggle

This goods in position is for Monday - Friday starting Monday 1st Sept. After this week if you have worked hard and been reliable we have long term positions available for starting mid September on pick and pack within the same warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
Main duty is to Unload containers within target time 3 hours.
· Palletise stock working from a packing list checking each code before placing on pallet to avoid mix up of stock. Shrink wrap to pallets for safe transportation, throughout warehouse.
· Move stock into locations using HHT scanners.
· Marshal customer orders within the warehouse.
· Ensuring all stock is available in the pick face to aid the pickers and to avoid late orders
General warehouse duties as required
· Collect and dispose of waste materials.
· Preparing packing materials.
· Move materials and stock around the warehouse.
Flex to other tasks in the warehouse as required.
Maintain high standards health & Safety.
· Operating handling equipment efficiently and safely.
· Outstanding housekeeping
· Fire exits and walkways are always kept clear.
· Maintain high level of health and safety standards.
· Report any accidents, collisions or near misses.
· Work with team leaders' managers to assess and reduce risks.

It would be beneficial if you have experience working in a similar role, used pump trucks or an FLT. Not essential but please mention if you have any of the above as you may be fast tracked to other opportunities with this ever growing business

Contract length: 12 weeks
Pay: £12.21 per hour
