Head Housekeeper
As a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It guides everything we do in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Key Responsibilities
* Manage the cleaning rota and daily schedules.
* Lead by example and support your team.
* Oversee laundry for personal and shared items.
* Order cleaning products and supplies.
* Follow and update infection control procedures.
* Keep records and complete cleaning checks.
* Ensure safety and COSHH guidelines are met.
You’ll plan ahead, but you’ll also be ready to jump in when needed. No job will be too small if it helps keep our residents safe and happy.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in housekeeping and team leadership.
* Organised, with awareness of Health & Safety and infection control.
* Friendly, positive, and kind in every conversation and task.
* Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to act.
* Willingness to attend safeguarding training and seek advice when needed.
