Summary:
Nijhuis Saur Industries UK & Ireland are global leaders in water treatment for a wide range of industries, including food and beverage companies and holiday parks.

The Service and Maintenance department manages tasks related to the design, installation, commissioning, servicing, optimization, and fault-finding of treatment plants.
Due to rapid business growth, we seek an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer passionate about providing preventative and reactive solutions efficiently and sustainably, with excellent customer service.
This is a mobile role based out of our Truro office, covering contracts across the UK.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as electro-mechanical service engineer for wastewater treatment systems.
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
* Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and replacements on-site.
* Prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
* Travel across the UK to maintenance or project sites, independently or with a team.
* Prepare timesheets, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Assist with overseas projects occasionally.
Qualifications/Skills (Essential):
* Level 3 apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
* Project management ability.
Qualifications/Skills (Desirable):
* Experience with wastewater systems (domestic, commercial, industrial).
* PASMA certification.
* Confined space certification (medium risk).
* Blue water card.
* SMSTS/SSSTS.
* First aid certification.
Working for us means:
* Salary between £37,000 & £43,000, depending on experience.
* Company van and fuel card.
* Overtime and on-call payments.
* 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days.
* 6-month probation period.
* Immediate or after 3 months, private healthcare enrollment.

* Notice period: 1 week during probation, 1 month thereafter.
