Job description: Using bespoke production software (SDS) to link all aspects of segment quality control, which include keeping accurate quality records and updating the database. Checking and approving completed reinforcement cages against relevant segment reinforcement drawings Delivering our infrastructure sub division assurance plan Trending and reporting of the sub division Quality performance Support the get it right to improve productivity initiative Driving the capture and implementation of lessons learned Determining the concrete strength of cast segments Establishing repair requirements and co-ordinating the repairs. Undertaking finishing inspection of the segments to determine acceptance or rejection. Liaising with the Segment Production team and Quality Manager. Producing weekly quality report for the production team. Any other specific projects / tasks given by the Quality Manager. Required profile: Experience in Quality Assurance within the construction/civil engineering industry Experience in QA Procedures and Controls (ITPs, Specifications) Being observant and analytical Communication and dependability Information technology and safety HND / Degree in Engineering Discipline desirable.
