The Marketing Intern will support the Head of Marketing & Communications to identify and amplify key PR and marketing opportunities both externally (across print, online and social media) and internally (via internal marketing activities including newsletters, invitations and activity programmes). This will be an 11 month fixed term contract from September 2025 July 2026.Duties and Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that the internal communication and branding is consistent across all platforms and in line with external communication messagingDrafting high quality and eye-catching editorial copy to support the Schooladvertising plan, whilst ensuring that all copy is in line with the SchoolvaluesPreparing press releasesManaging the Schoolpresence on social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and relevanceRegularly liaise with key stakeholders to refresh the Schoolwebsite and social media content on a daily basis, supported by implementation of social media adsCreating content (posts, photos, videos) for different social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, Linkedin, Snapchat) in support of agreed content pillars and content calendarCreating simple graphics\/artwork using selected imagery to generate advertising contentRecording and analysing statistics relating to the reach and effectiveness of communications activities (both digital and offline), and use insights to inform future marketing objectivesnalysing competitor offline and digital activities to maintain the SchooladvantageRefresh the Schoolparent facing content, identifying opportunities to improve communication to all usersDrafting applications and supporting documentation for awards entriesWriting and editing the Schoolannual magazine, including the co-ordination of designers and printersAssisting in the briefing and supervision of photographers and videographers whilst they are on the School siteUsing photography and film to publicise School events and initiatives across print, online and social media channelsPreparing the weekly newsletter for current parentsCo-ordinating and preparing a regular staff bulletinUpdating key written materials as the need requires, e.g. curriculum brochures, scholarships programmes, prospectus documents and information bookletselement of adaptability, to lend copywriting skills to new initiatives as the need arises.Keys Skills & Knowledge:Education \/ QualificationsStudying or recently completed a degree, ideally with some modules in Marketing or Business Key AttributesExcellent copywriting, proof reading and editing skills.keen passion for harnessing the power of social media and digital marketing tools.Adept at communicating via social media platforms.
