What You’ll Be Doing:
* Keeping core systems healthy by monitoring alerts, investigating anomalies, and ensuring environments remain stable.
* Supporting secure network operations and maintaining the external services the programme depends on.
* Running regular vulnerability scans and responding to security outputs from internal monitoring teams.
* Managing patching cycles across Windows, Linux, and infrastructure components.
* Handling upgrades for firewalls and maintaining repositories used across the programme.
* Ensuring production and pre-production environments remain up to date and compliant.
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong background in system administration within a project or programme-led setting.
* Experience with Elastic monitoring, Nessus, and SOC processes.
* Confident working with Windows and Linux server environments.
* Hands-on knowledge of patching tools, firewall management, and security best practice.
* Strong diagnostic abilities with the ability to prioritise based on operational impact.
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience, plus certifications such as Security+ or Azure Administrator (or similar).
