As an Alternatives Sales Manager on the Investor Services team, you will grow BBH’s alternative fund client roster, primarily focusing on private markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead business development, delivering revenue targets set by Head of Alternative Sales in Europe.
* Build a pipeline of qualified prospects via commercial insight.
* Identify and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers (C‑Level).
* Evaluate existing client relationships to identify new revenue streams.
* Promote BBH products industry‑wide and position BBH for long‑term opportunities.
* Represent BBH at regional industry events.
* Build and maintain an influencer network to generate referrals.
* Develop and maintain detailed sales plans and analysis for clients and prospects.
* Track sales opportunities, update Salesforce, and monitor progress.
* Track and communicate client and market intelligence.
* Maintain in‑depth product knowledge of BBH’s core alternatives products.


Knowledge & Skills Required

* Experience in core alternatives segments: private credit, private equity, real assets.
* Minimum 3 years of alternatives sector or related industry experience.
* 2–3 years of sales experience.
* Knowledge of global alternatives industry and fund servicing products; cross‑product knowledge a plus.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
* Proven negotiation skills.
* Professional business acumen and ability to interact at all levels.
* Quick learning, multitasking, and problem‑solving with a positive attitude.
* Track record of managing complex sales processes.
* Knowledge of regulatory environment affecting asset management.
* Consultative, strategic sales approach and methodology.
