Social Care Recruitment are currently looking for Children's Residential Support Workers to join our team!
About the Role
We’re looking for caring, reliable and passionate Children’s Support Workers to join our dedicated team. You’ll be supporting young people aged 6–25 in residential and Supported Living settings, helping them grow, thrive and build positive futures.
Every day is different – one day you might be helping with daily routines, another you’ll be out engaging in fun activities, building trust and confidence with young people who need your support the most.
Your Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, clean and nurturing residential environment.
*
Follow safeguarding and care standards at all times.
*
Provide personal, emotional and practical support to young people.
*
Encourage independence and positive routines.
*
Engage in community and home-based activities.
*
Work with young people displaying challenging behaviour and complex needs.
*
Build trusting, supportive relationships that make a real difference.
*
Collaborate with your team to promote the wellbeing and development of each young person.
*
Understand and uphold Ofsted Children’s Home Regulations.
What We’re Looking For
*
Minimum 6 months’ UK social care experience (Essential)
*
Full UK driving licence (Essential)
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (Preferred)
*
A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
*
Resilience, empathy and a positive attitude.
