Duties as History Teacher: Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5. Develop students' analytical, critical thinking, and historical enquiry skills. Encourage debate and discussion on historical events and their impact on the modern world. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as history clubs, trips, and enrichment opportunities. Ideal History Teacher: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Has experience teaching History in a secondary school setting. Is passionate about history and making it accessible and engaging for all students. Has excellent classroom management and communication skills as a History Teacher.
