Start date: 01/09/26

Hours: 31 hours and 15 minutes per week (Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 03:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak), term time only including INSET days

Salary (FTE): £26,824 - £28,142 per annum

Salary (Actual): £19,486.70 - £20,444.18 per annum

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a child’s day?

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team supporting both whole classes and individual children. The ideal candidate will have experience in team work, effective communication and a proven track record of positively impacting pupil attainment, progress and well-being.

The successful candidates will:

✅ Have recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, equivalent to NVQ level 2

✅ Previous experience of working with children as a TA in a school

✅ Previous experience of working with children individually and in group situations, including those with SEND

✅ Able to demonstrate sound basic literacy and numeracy skills

✅ Able to communicate effectively with pupils to address individual needs and development

✅ To work without supervision and be able to give accurate feedback to teachers regarding progress and needs

Fluency Duty 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
