Role: People & Talent Lead (Part-Time / Contract)

Location: Remote (UK/EU preferred)

Type: Contract / Freelance (2-3 days per week to start, with potential to grow)

About Oh


Oh is building the OpenAI of the spicy content industry. Our platform, OhChat, allows users to engage in lifelike AI conversations with digital twins of real-world personalities and original characters through text, voice, and images. Backed by leading AI and Web3 investors, we’re growing fast with a global user base, and a roadmap that includes agentic superModels, API integrations, and video capabilities.


We’re now around 20 people, fully remote, and scaling rapidly. As we continue to grow, we’re hiring across engineering, product, growth, and creator partnerships. To support this, we’re looking for a brilliant People & Talent Lead to help us run hiring processes, establish people ops foundations, and scale the team by hiring best in class talent in all positions.


The Role


We’re looking for an experienced and pragmatic People & Talent Lead to join us on a part-time or contract basis. You’ll own end-to-end hiring across 5–6 active roles and lay the foundations of people operations at Oh. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s excited to build from the ground up and partner closely with founders and hiring managers.


You’ll:


* Own all active hiring processes (from JD writing through to onboarding)
* Define and implement our hiring workflows, tooling, and interview coordination
* Source and screen candidates, manage candidate comms, and ensure a world-class experience
* Work with hiring managers to plan hiring rounds and align candidate profiles
* Implement lightweight internal people ops processes (e.g. onboarding flows, offer letters, HR compliance basics)
* Begin shaping scalable HR practices for a remote, international team


What You’ll Need


* 4+ years experience in a people, talent, or HR role in a fast-paced startup
* Hands-on experience running end-to-end hiring for technical and marketing roles
* Strong organisational skills, process-minded, and confident setting up systems from scratch
* Great communication skills with a bias for action
* Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones
* Ability to context-switch between recruitment, HR process building, and people support


Nice to Have


* Experience scaling teams from 10 to 50+ in a startup or high-growth environment
* Knowledge of tools like Notion, Ashby, Workable, Deel, or equivalent
* Experience working with international and remote-first teams
* Exposure to early-stage AI, Web3, or platform businesses
