The Role
We’re looking for a CTO with exceptional capabilities, who likes to punch above their weight, excited at the idea of creating the 1st ever learning tool with 100% active users!
· Are you an innovator? We’re looking for someone that isn’t just excited about designing features, but that obsesses about results.
· Do you have a growth mindset? We need someone who can evolve the platform into an indispensable product for user, buyers… and take us to £1M ARR!!
· Are you a technical Leader? Driving innovation end-to-end: making big architectural calls, growing the team, and diving into the code whenever needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Drive the overall tech strategy and bring the company’s vision to life.
* Lead and mentor a small team of talented engineers.
* Adjust course based on 6-month worth of data and user feedback (and counting!)
* Build out our AI infrastructure — things like RAG pipelines, multimodal content handling, and LLM-powered experiences that actually work in production.
* Experiment with the latest models, tools, and APIs to stay ahead of the curve.
* Own Data and Security policy. Support the CEO / sales team during IT audits
* Keep the platform secure, stable, and scalable as we grow fast.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience leading technical projects or teams (startups or small teams are a big plus).
* Strong background in Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
* Experience working with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
* Hands-on experience deploying AI systems in production.
* Experience in dealing with IT audits with prospects.
* A good grasp of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
* A curiosity for how people learn and grow — and how tech can help with that.
