Role: Factory Planning Manager
Location: Bicker (Spalding / Boston)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Due to ongoing growth and development, JDM Food Group have partnered with Total Search Partners to recruit a Factory Planning Manager.
JDM Food Group create exceptional quality flavour solutions in the provision of sauces, marinades, pastes and raw ingredients and much more selling into a diverse range of markets; manufacturing, home delivery meals, food service and retail, as well as their own consumer brand ‘Just Add’.
JDM are looking for a Factory Planning Manager to head up a team that covers the planning, sales and order processing functions.
Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, this role is integral in hitting the business’ service level targets, whilst balancing customer service levels and operational efficiencies.
As a one site operation, JDM are a fast to market, agile food manufacturer, with a diverse product range and an extensive and thriving customer base.
Responsibilities include:

Direct and lead the planning team to ensure they meet company objectives and are engaged and customer focused.

Manage, organise and update relevant data usage using Excel and SAP ERP applications.

Oversee the S&OP process, modelling capacity, demand and key opportunities and risks.

Control waste levels by challenging operational performance and adherence to plan.
*
Analyse and forecast sales information to predict stock holding requirement.
*
Working closely with the NPD Team/ Process Team regarding new product launches and innovations.
Due to the fast-paced nature of the food manufacturing industry, coupled with the complexity and range and volume of products and customers, we will only be considering candidates who have a chilled food manufacturing background for this role.
