Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for 12 months at 15 hours per week. The workdays will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, or just 2 days at 7.5 hours, or could be split over 3 days if needed.
About the Role
Get involved in the Trust’s innovative and award‑winning Mental Health Museum. The role will involve working with service users, carers, Trust staff and community groups and organisations to further develop Mental Health Museum projects and initiatives, help shape the future of MHM, and have a positive impact on service users as part of the MHM team. You will also engage in outreach work in the community and hospital settings and be supported by the MHM manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with service users, carers, Trust staff and community groups to develop Mental Health Museum projects and initiatives.
* Shape and positively impact service users as part of the MHM team.
* Engage in outreach work in community and hospital settings.
* Maintain relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
* Work across the areas served by the Trust, including Barnsley, Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale, and be able to work agilely and with a certain degree of autonomy.
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience and skills around archiving and community engagement.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships and build relationships.
* Confidence in outreach work in community and hospital settings.
* Ability to work autonomously under the support of a manager.
Eligibility and Visa Information
