I am looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to work on the Island of Jersey in the Channel Islands.
This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.
This role will include travelling across different client sites in Jersey, but may include some UK wide travel on occasion, where expenses are covered.

You will:
* Provide a full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including consultation, clinical assessment & treatment, advice, education, medical assessments and D&A testing where appropriate and in accordance with patient group directives and departmental protocols.
• Provide professional advice, support and guidance to the client and wider multidisciplinary team.
• Assess clients presenting to Occupational Health, providing sound clinical advice and treatment.
• You will assess the client’s fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with HP policies and guidelines and issue appropriate fitness certificates.
• You will write letters to GP/Specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act.
• Provide clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
• Maintain appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping.
• Provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation and in line with DHC policies and guidelines.
• Provide clinical support to the first aid provision on site.
• Assist in the provision of health promotion and wellbeing on-site.
• Maintain valid and up-to-date registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues and clinical supervision
• Maintain working knowledge of HP policies and procedures and adopt these accordingly
• Maintain a flexible approach to the role according to professional and service needs
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional who is a Registered General Nurse or holds a qualification in adult nursing, with a valid driving licence. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and expertise in interpreting health screening and surveillance results, alongside excellent clinical skills, including suturing and cannulation. A good understanding of health and safety legislation, strong PC/IT abilities, and solid administrative skills are essential, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Hours
This is a full-time role where the successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

This is an onsite role, working across multiple locations in Jersey.
