Domestic / Junior Commercial Gas Engineer\nLocation: Field-based – ideally within M25 region (Kent, Essex, North London, Herts, Berkshire etc.)\nSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits\nContract Type: Full Time, Permanent\nHours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (40 hours/week)\nCall-Out Rota: 1 in 5/6 (Standby: £120)\nAbout the Company\nOur client is a respected and long-standing Commercial & Domestic Heating Company based in Essex. This company offers a solid, supportive environment for gas engineers looking to grow and develop their careers and upskill into the commercial gas sector.\nThe Role\nDue to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit up to two engineers to join their team:\n\nExperienced Domestic Gas Engineers looking to progress into Commercial work\nThis is a varied and rewarding role offering a mix of PPM, servicing, and reactive breakdowns.\nEngineers are expected to participate in the call-out rota (1 in 5/6 weeks) and will receive full support, training, and ongoing development—particularly for those making the transition from domestic to commercial gas.\nWhat They're Looking For\n\nQualified Domestic Gas Engineer (ACS/Gas Safe registered)\nKeen to progress and develop into commercial gas engineering\nA positive, proactive attitude\nWillingness to travel within your region and occasionally support across wider areas\nFull UK Driving Licence\nWhat’s On Offer\n\nSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)\nDoor-to-door travel paid\nOvertime:\nWeekdays & Saturdays at x1.5\nSundays at x2\n\nCall-Out Rota: 1 in 5/6 weeks – £120 standby allowance\nCompany Van & Fuel Card – private use permitted (within reason)\nPrivate Healthcare (BUPA)\nPrivate Pension Scheme\nAnnual Company Bonus Scheme\nCompany Phone & Tablet\nAll Power Tools & Testing Equipment Provided\nFull Uniform & PPE Provided\nOngoing training & upskilling – especially from Domestic to Commercial
