Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. You will have the opportunity to apply your experience with reacting to live issues as they come up in build strategy
2. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues with supporting from different functions and liaise with other teams to be able to resolve the issue permanently for future builds
3. You will predominantly be focusing on steel work, fabrication, and welding in this role, to continuously improve and support these areas
4. You will be responsible for providing technical support to the Operations Team in building the Dreadnought
5. Responsible for management of relationships between Stakeholders and other Engineering Teams
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience in heavy engineering and fabrication
* Possess technical communication skills
* Manufacturing Engineering experience would be desirable

The Engineering Support team:
This team provide technical support to the operations team who are building the submarine. Working on the Dreadnought programme for the foreseeable. This role will offer a great opportunity to come into an established project and the chance for great progression throughout the business. You will have exposure to key high-level Stakeholders, and the chance to present successes achieved in the role.
