Our Medical Negligence team is a highly respected specialist practice, supporting clients nationwide in claims arising from negligent medical treatment. The work we do often involves complex, sensitive and life-changing circumstances, and we pride ourselves on delivering expert legal advice alongside compassionate, client-focused support. We are seeking a Clinical Negligence Lawyer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) with 2 years’ post-qualification experience to join our team based in our Lincoln office, with hybrid working available. You will run your own caseload of medical negligence claims and assist on higher-value and more technically complex matters, with supervision and support from experienced colleagues where needed. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of medical negligence claims from initial investigation through to resolution Drafting clear and accurate correspondence, pleadings and case documentation Providing regular, empathetic communication to clients, many of whom are experiencing difficult and sensitive circumstances Preparing high-quality legal documents, correspondence and evidence assessments, while maintaining accurate electronic files and accurate time recording Attending court, conducting advocacy where appropriate, or instructing counsel on more complex cases We are proud holders of the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award and actively encourage applications from former serving personnel, reservists and members of the armed forces community.
