About the Department
The Cloud Platform Engineering team is key within the Cloud Capability function, collaborating across groups to create and maintain the cloud platform supporting modern development practices.
About the Role
As a Development Enablement Engineer, you will enhance software development productivity by designing, building, and maintaining tools and systems that streamline the development lifecycle, embedding security at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain internal tools, scripts, and platforms to improve developer workflows.
* Identify pain points and implement solutions for onboarding, documentation, and daily tasks.
* Collaborate with product engineers, DevOps, QA, and security teams to advocate best practices.
* Define and monitor metrics related to productivity and system performance.
* Support infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform.
* Document systems and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), a background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with a security mindset, experience with CI/CD tools, familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, understanding of Azure, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Passion for improving developer workflows is essential.
