Transmission is one of the fastest-growing production companies in the UK, working with national brands to conceptualise, film and edit broadcast commercials and social media campaigns. And we’re looking to expand our post-production team with a new Senior Post Producer.
You will play a core role in the day-to-day running of Transmission's post-production operations, responsible for creating and maintaining accurate project schedules, coordinating deadlines, communicating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring that work flows efficiently through the department.
You will also implement new ideas and better systems to improve the processes through Monday.com and other project management software, as well support the other Post Producers with their learning and career progression.
You will work closely with the edit team, creative team and clients to ensure smooth delivery of projects from edit to final delivery.
The Candidate
* At least 5 years of experience working as a Post Producer, with proven experience in TVCs
* Based within 1 hour of London
* Excellent organisational skills with a sharp attention to detail
* Strong communication skills with confidence in liaising with clients and internal teams
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Calm, pragmatic and solution-focused approach to problem solving
* Excellent understanding of post-production workflows, particularly for edit, GFX and delivery
* Proven experience in scoping new work, setting and managing budgets, and tracking costs
* Strong understanding of the Clearcast and Cape delivery processes
* Experience using scheduling and project tracking tools such as Monday.com
* Experience leading a post production team, including workload delegation and oversight, support, quality control and training
* Good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and how editors work
Responsibilities
* Maintain an up-to-date log of all post-production deadlines across active projects for the team
* Line manage the Post Producers, providing direction and support
* Communicate deadlines clearly to relevant internal departments
* Manage resources and budgets to ensure projects are profitable
* Liaise with clients to ensure they know when edits will be delivered for review
* Schedule GFX and CGI briefs, ensuring creative teams and artists are briefed at the correct stages of production
* Act as the conduit between CGI artists, the creative team, and the client throughout the process
* Liaise directly with clients to gather and communicate GFX briefs, feedback and amends
* Send edits to clients and collate feedback in a timely manner
* Feed client comments back to the edit team and track revisions accurately
* Upload final files to Clearcast, Cape and other delivery platforms on schedule
* Ensure all project tracking systems (e.g. Monday.com) are kept fully updated and accurate
