SEND Teaching Assistant – Start ASAP

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP at a welcoming school in Ickenham.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
2. Support children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
3. Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
4. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
5. Support pupils with personal care where required
6. Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
Requirements
7. Experience working with children with SEND (school or care setting)
8. Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
