Teacher Active is working with a variety of specialist schools and colleges across the United Kingdom. We are currently recruiting for clients based within Birmingham and surrounding areas that need experienced residential staff to work at their children’s homes. Do you have what it takes?
Candidate Profile
We are looking for motivated, experienced, and non-experienced residential support workers to help make a positive impact on children and young adults. Our homes support children and young adults with guidance and care.

Responsibilities
* Support pupils both in and out of the care home.
* Assist with personal development and behaviour management.
* Utilize skills such as emotional intelligence, resilience, patience, motivation, communication, maturity, teamwork, and initiative.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young adults with challenging behaviour.
* A team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach.
* Punctuality and organizational skills.
* Experience within a residential setting.
* Minimum one year of experience working with children/young adults in a UK care or education setting (essential).
* Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent (desirable).
* A full UK driving licence (desirable).
* An understanding of safeguarding (desirable).
