What You'll Do: As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be a key player in the service department, responsible for: Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards. Utilising your advanced diagnostic skills and the latest equipment to identify and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults. Performing comprehensive vehicle health checks and reporting any additional work required. Working efficiently and effectively to meet and exceed dealership targets and customer expectations. Collaborating with a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to ensure a seamless customer journey. Keeping up-to-date with the latest manufacturer training and technical developments. What We're Looking For: We are looking for a proactive and experienced technician who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will possess: A formal qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership or independent garage environment. Strong diagnostic skills are essential. You will be the go-to person for complex fault-finding and problem-solving. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, multi-franchise setting. A full, valid UK driving licence. A commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
