Base pay range
Family Law Solicitor £34,000-£59,000, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits. Locations: Manchester City Centre, Bristol, Stratford‑Upon‑Avon or Sheffield – hybrid working (home & one day a week in office) Hybrid Working Policy
About the role
We are expanding our Family Law team from newly qualified to Lead level. You will manage a variety of new and existing family caseloads end-to-end with a client‑focused approach to targets. The role supports development and offers the opportunity to shape our future.
What you'll do
 * Take ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters, negotiating and achieving the best results for clients.
 * Use our case management system to record information accurately.
 * Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit cost targets.
 * Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
 * At senior or lead level, provide line management, role‑model inclusive leadership, and mentor junior team members.
 * At lead level, delegate work, act as a subject‑matter expert, and contribute to strategic positioning, marketing, and promotion of the department.
This role would suit people who have
 * Qualified as a solicitor or CILEX qualified, with experience handling privately funded family law matters.
 * Proven experience meeting chargeable and billing targets.
 * Good general IT skills, including use of a case management system.
 * Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service skills.
 * High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
 * Resilience and ability to embrace change.
