HEAD OF BOARDING Start Date: April or September 2026. Contract: Full time, permanent. Salary: Dependent on skills and experience. Accommodation provided in a flat linked to the boarding house. An opportunity has arisen for the post of Head of Boarding to take overall responsibility for all aspects of boarding life across the school. The post holder will report to the Deputy Head Pastoral and Wellbeing. The role of Head of Boarding at BCS is an important one placing the successful candidate at the strategic and emotional core of the school community. This is a hugely important role that demands visionary leadership combined with meticulous operational oversight, ensuring the complete development and well-being of every boarder in a structured, supportive, and enriching environment. BCS has a boarding community of 90 pupils, majority are international from ages 11-18.

We are looking for a Head of Boarding who:

* Ensures all pupils succeed and are able to achieve their maximum potential
* Can assist in the development of the boarding strategy and to promote boarding
* Is committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of all pupils
* Enjoys working as part of a team
* Has excellent attention to detail and sets high expectations of themselves and their pupils
