Role Overview
We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to our experienced and friendly Community Occupational Therapy Team within Inverness district on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a full comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a range of patients referred to the service.
* Work independently within a holistic approach to rehabilitation, reablement, home first and major adaptations, focusing primarily on clients with physical disabilities.
* Act as a clinical support to junior staff members and manage a caseload, liaising with multi‑professional teams for coordinated care.
* Travel efficiently between various work locations and patient residences; holding a full current driving licence and vehicle is essential.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist experience.
* Skills in prioritisation, flexibility and delegation.
* Ability to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
