Job Overview

Medical Recruitment are searching for a new team member to join our recruitment service at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Recruitment Team, with specific responsibilities for medical and dental staff recruitment ensuring the provision of a high quality recruitment and appointment service for the Trust.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Recruitment Team.
* Support medical and dental staff recruitment, ensuring a high quality recruitment and appointment service.
* Prioritise work in a fast‑paced, busy environment, maintaining a flexible approach.
* Accurate data input into spreadsheets and databases to maintain up‑to‑date records.
* Work effectively as part of a team while being able to work independently.
* Maintain and update applicant tracking system records (TRAC system).


Education, Training & Experience

* Minimum GCSE English Language & Maths or equivalent.
* Working knowledge of a wide range of secretarial procedures, including use of email, internet, filing systems and Microsoft Office packages.
* Experience in a secretarial/administrative setting.
* Committee support experience (minute taking, agenda preparation) is desirable.
* Previous experience in delivering recruitment or HR services in an office environment.
* Experience using applicant tracking systems such as the TRAC system is desirable.
* Basic knowledge of NHS medical and dental terms and conditions is desirable.


Required Skills

* Accurate data inputting skills for entering data onto spreadsheets/databases.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a busy office.
* Computer literate and confident in using Microsoft Office software.
