THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL This is a senior role driving Wave’s assurance on key data items, which in turn will drive revenue assurance. Alongside managing operational teams, the Head of Revenue Assurance will play a key part in ensuring adherence to profitable revenue streams within Wave. Combining analytical, operational, systems and people strategies to deliver against the anticipated margins, process excellence, department culture, and core system functionality requirements. Working across the business functions blending analytical insight and process improvements to ensure sources of errors and potential margin leakage are eliminated at source. Driving solutions which generate large scale improvements, whilst ensuring quality outputs and understanding the customer impacts. This role requires someone with a proven ability to work at a Head of Department level, who can engage both team members, peers, and senior stakeholders. providing an essential link between technical, compliance, operational and analytical data and information. An ability to see the wider business view, alongside creating strategies and themes to work towards automation, continuous improvement and process changes that does not rely on individual or manual dependencies is critical. The Revenue Assurance department are also responsible for providing key stakeholders critical input to the monthly and annual financial reporting process, notably reporting on gross margins. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Job specific/Technical Essentials Accomplished leader, with the ability to verify and interrogate relevant data for the purposes of informing strategy and financial decision making. Experienced at assessing analytical data and converting the insight into operational plans working with stakeholders for buy in and engagement Ability to understand complex system processes and decipher areas of financial risk and opportunity. Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical audiences. A proven people leader (direct and indirect), demonstrating the ability to engage, influence and lead teams through change to achieve increased performance. A controls-based mindset, with an understanding of what good risk management looks like. Experienced at converting identified issues into scalable, automated solutions Experience at working at a senior/Head of Department level Proven success in a finance or complex analytical role, with demonstrable experience of revenue or margin assurance Proven experience in a role which bridges financial and operational deliverables Proven experience at matrix management and collaborative successes Experience in change management Ability to manipulate ‘Big Data.’ Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Please only apply if you meet the essential criteria of the role.
