Facilities Engineer Certain Advantage is hiring for a Facilities Engineer based in the Coventry area. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for: Diagnose equipment issues, own the issue and use available resources to resolve. The raising of eTrackers, tracking and managing them through to closure, to minimise facility downtime. Analysis of data and evaluation of findings to provide solutions and move the test activity and pilot build forward. Data-driven diagnosis and rectification of issues, engagement of support teams to facilitate resolution. Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment during scheduled downtime. Perform periodic calibration on facility equipment. Function test and service of facilities equipment. Perform TPM (preventative maintenance) of facility equipment.The Individual We’re looking for people who can show: Level 4 qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Proven skills in fault finding and resolution, problem analysis and root-cause identification are crucial, as is a methodical, logical approach to work. Experience with physical maintenance activities. Calibration and Instrumentation knowledge. Emissions, Mechanical and/or Electrical skills and knowledge. A detailed understanding of electrical/mechanical measurement techniques.
