Health & Safety Manager We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Health & Safety Manager to join a fantastic manufacturing company in Eastleigh. Introduction The Health & Safety Manager will develop and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental programs and coordinate activities associated with the HS&E policies and procedures on site. Responsibilities: * Implement and monitor programs and procedures to ensure total compliance with all laws and regulations and supports with development of HSE programmes as required. * Maintain external HSE accreditation certification and interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accreditation status. * Assists in communicating hazard control information and evaluates effectiveness of the controls * Safety audits throughout the facility reporting results and following up to ensure discrepancies are corrected * Acts as a HSE contact in dealing with regulatory agencies, and trains management to understand HSE regulations and standards. * Develops training materials and conducts HSE training; including new hire orientation * Develops & implements 6S initiatives related to Environmental & Safety * Ensures all incidents, near miss and hazards are reported on the database accordingly. Manage and communicate HSE KPI’s to drive improvement and awareness. Ideal Experience: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in a similar environmental with relevant professional HSE experience preferably within manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft applications ISO14001 Environmental Management certification and 45001 health safety standard Previous facilities management is not essential, but excellent project management skills will be required for this role LEAN and 6S knowledge / experience Salary £45K - £50K (Pro Rata) Hours Part Time 16-25 hours per week, flexible on days and the hours required Benefits Company Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, Finance Scheme If you could be interested in this fantastic Health & Safety Manager Opportunity, please apply and we'll be in touch to discuss further
