We are looking for a Business Development Team Manager to join a successful team based in Yeovil. This role would suit someone who takes pride in leading a team, but also still enjoys getting on the phone and developing the business themselves too.
Your role will involve the following:
Working alongside internal teams to coordinate customer and new business appointments, ensuring that all parts of the business is cross sold and sales are maximised.
Lead and manage your team, including frequent 1:1s, performance reviews and development plans.
Support and follow-up on quotations and prospects in a timely manner to maximise conversion rates
Resolving customer queries and questions in a manner which maximises customer satisfaction as required and in particular dealing with complex customer cases.
Processing sales orders using the internal systems, raising purchase orders to suppliers and setting up codes for products.
Maintaining databases and filing systems.

Experience of leading and managing a customer sales team to achieve results
Experience of developing new and existing customer accounts
