Our client is a leader in its specialist field. Due to uninterrupted year on year growth, they now require a Field Service Engineer, primarily for the Midlands and South regions, to install and maintain their range of equipment found in laboratories and research establishments across the UK.

Responsibilities:
1. Train and instruct customers in the safe operation of bio-medical devices post-commissioning, and attend sites for planned maintenance, service duties, and emergency breakdowns.
2. Maintain accurate records and documentation of service activities.
3. Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Develop good working relationships with clients to optimize business development opportunities.
6. Have previous service engineering experience, with familiarity in electromechanical technology and programmable digital controls.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license for travel to client sites.
* Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
* Certification in relevant technologies is advantageous.
* Electrically biased background is preferred but not essential.
