Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are working with a local, leading offsite modular building manufacturer, who are looking for a Quality Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring all quality issues throughout the manufacturing facility, based in Brandesburton, including conducting and reporting on daily checks.
Principle Responsibilities:
* Conduct quality checks, both visual & measurement, on incoming materials
* Checking modules are compliant with specifications
* Conduct quality checks throughout production to ensure correct materials and fixings are being used whilst ensuring the capture of pictorial evidence in all “critical” components
* Travelling documents are checked to ensure all sections are signed off
* All completed products are checked and snagging list provided for each project when required
* Non - conformance reports are generated when required
* Monthly tape measure checks are performed and documented
* Site installation audits are conducted as and when required
* Conduct internal audits when required
* Ensure H&S compliance throughout production
Experience, Qualifications & Training:
* Experience within modular / construction is preferred
* Good knowledge of modular and prefab buildings
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Previous expense of snagging / joinery
* A calm and logical approach to a multi-skilled role
* Good communication skills at all levels
* Knowledge of Siniat & BG systems is advantageous
* IT literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
