Job Description
As part of the Airbus Defense & Space team, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Design and execute validation test plans for software and hardware components used in space systems;
* Flash and configure embedded software onto telecom hardware platforms for testing purposes;
* Develop and maintain Java-based test tools and utilities for hardware-software integration;
* Document test results and issues in Jira, and collaborate with cross-functional teams via Confluence.
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
* Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering;
* Strong validation experience is important:
* Core skills in SW and HW-related tests preferably in Space
* Familiarity with flashing SW on HW
* Production of code, debugging, ability to be autonomous in testing & investigating
* Ability to define & link tests with tech specification
* Proficiency in in Java;
* Experienced working in Linux-based environments, including remote system access and control via SSH;
* Telecoms HW knowledge (instruments) would be a plus;
* Familiarity with following is preferred:
* Eclipse dev environment
* Doors
* Jira & Confluence
* Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
