Permanent roles for Consultant Children’s Social Workers, West MidlandsLocation: Warwickshire areaSalary: Up to £53769 per year, including market supplementRelocation Allowance of up to £8000We are currently working with a Local Authority who is looking for dedicated Social Workers to be part of their strategy of supporting Children. We are looking for highly experienced social workers who will work with less experienced social workers and family practitioners to direct and oversee case work ensuring all court preparation is clear, relevant, specific and timely. They will also hold allocated families of their own to work with.Requirements:
* Social Work Degree and at least 4 years’ Post Qualification experience
* RTW work in the UK (Sponsorship cannot be offered)
* Current Driving Licence
Teams: Family Help Teams, county wide, including
* Rugby, Warwick, Stratford, Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire
About the Team:
* The district based locality Family Help Teams work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents care or with a plan of reunification home. O
* Family Help Teams are multi-agency with Family Support Worker, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, Police Community Support Officer's and soon NHS Nurse’s - all working together to meet the holistic needs of our families to reduce risk and keep families together.
* Now is an exciting time to be part of the team as Warwickshire begins to embed the Families First teams who support the young people in the County.
* The approach is about locality working, multi disciplinary and multi agency teams that support the whole family.
* Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.
Requirements of you as the Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
* A full UK driving licence
* DBS clearance
* Authority to work in the UK
