United Kingdom Salary From £70,000 To £75,000 PA Permanent, Full-time An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly professional Fleet Manager to oversee the transport operations of a UHNW family based in Central London. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing a team of Chauffeurs and a fleet of high-value vehicles, ensuring impeccable standards of safety, presentation, efficiency, and discretion at all times. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the fleet’s day-to-day management, including driver supervision, scheduling, compliance, vehicle maintenance coordination, procurement, and strategic planning. Acting as the central point of contact for all transport-related matters, the Fleet Manager will ensure seamless service delivery to the Principals and family members, maintaining the highest standards expected within a private UHNW environment. This role requires a trustworthy, organised, and detail-driven professional with solid prior experience as a Fleet Manager, ideally within a private household. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader and strong communicator, capable of motivating and managing drivers while fostering a collaborative and respectful working culture. Absolute discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. The successful applicant must demonstrate proven longevity in previous roles, extensive experience managing high-value and specialist vehicles, and a comprehensive understanding of compliance, licensing, insurance, and maintenance protocols. A detailed knowledge of Central London and surrounding areas is highly desirable, alongside excellent spoken English and strong administrative and reporting skills. Working hours are five days on, two days off (on a rota basis), with flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. The ability to respond proactively to evolving schedules and operational demands is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the family’s transport operations DUTIES TO INCLUDE: • Overseeing and managing a team of Chauffeurs, including rota planning, performance standards, training, and ongoing supervision • Managing the full fleet of high-value vehicles, ensuring exceptional standards of presentation, safety, compliance, and operational readiness at all times • Acting as the primary point of contact for all transport-related matters, ensuring seamless coordination for the Principal and family members • Developing and implementing fleet policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain efficiency and discretion • Overseeing vehicle procurement, insurance, licensing, MOTs, servicing schedules, and warranty management • Conducting regular vehicle inspections and ensuring that preventative maintenance programmes are adhered to • Managing budgets related to fleet operations, negotiating with suppliers and service providers to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality • Planning and coordinating complex travel logistics, route strategies, and contingency planning with detailed knowledge of traffic patterns and alternative options • Maintaining accurate records, compliance documentation, and reporting related to fleet performance and expenditure • Upholding the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing schedules, last-minute requests, and operational demands ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager Chauffeur within a UHNW household • Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous positions • Excellent knowledge of Central London and surrounding routes • Extensive experience operating luxury vehicles (Maybach, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover, etc.) • Clean UK driving licence and impeccable driving record • Honest, open, and reliable with strong professional integrity • Team player with a personable and respectful approach • Calm, flexible, and adaptable to changing schedules and requests • Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills • Discreet, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining family privacy • Eligible to work within the UK • Excellent checkable references
