Your new role
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to support pupils aged 11–19 in accessing learning and developing essential life skills. The role involves building positive relationships, promoting independence, and helping students engage confidently with their education.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting pupils in lessons, small groups, and 1:1 sessions
2. Assisting with adapted learning materials and differentiated activities
3. Encouragingmunication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
4. Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing
5. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
6. Contributing to progress reviews and supporting EHCP targets
