Teaching Assistant (1-1 Support)

Salary: £13.75 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school in Gosport. This rewarding role will involve providing 1-1 support to a Year 2 pupil, assisting with their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide focused 1-1 support to a Year 2 pupil, helping them engage with their learning.
* Support the pupil in overcoming any barriers to learning and emotional needs.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning plans.
* Assist in preparing learning materials and resources for the pupil.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
* Ensure the pupil’s well-being is supported both academically and emotionally.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to supporting pupils.
* A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
