JB486: Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance ManagerLocation: ManchesterSalary: Up to £50,000 per annumOverviewFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities for the Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager:
* Oversee QHSE policies, procedures, and compliance across all operations.
* Conduct RCA’s and be a leader for positive change.
* Ensure vehicle bodybuilding and modifications meet Type Approval (IVA, VCA, DVSA) and industry regulations.
* Develop and implement quality management systems (ISO ) to drive continuous improvement.
* Maintain and have control of the QMS.
* Monitor and advise on COSHH, PUWER and LOLER requirements and adherence.
* Monitor NCR’s and customer feedback.
* Deliver QHSE training programmes to staff, ensuring a strong safety culture.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers to maintain compliance and certifications.
Skills and Qualifications for the Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager:
* Proven track record in a QHSE and/or compliance role within vehicle bodybuilding, automotive, or engineering industries.
* Awareness and understanding of Type Approval, IVA, VCA, and industry standards, development training can be provided.
* Ability to lead a safety-first culture and implement compliance improvements, inspiring those around you.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
* Utilsing great communication skills to confidently liaise with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal teams.
