At Thera South West, we believe people with a learning disability should be leaders in society. We are looking for a Deputy Support Manager to assist the Support Manager in leading teams, delivering person-centered support that meets regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements. As a Deputy Support Manager, you will mentor teams, coach support staff, and drive continuous improvement. You will ensure practice leadership is developed, recognized, and reflected in all we do, working on shift as part of the rota, acting as a role model of best practice. You will support people to design their support plans, assist with rota management, maintain records, address concerns, conduct audits, and deputize for the Support Manager when needed. Always aim to empower individuals, promote inclusion, rights & independence, whilst adhering to policies and acting as an ambassador for Thera.

Skills & Experience
* Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above (England) or SCQF 7 or above (Scotland).
* Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
* Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* Confidence in using digital systems (e.g., Excel, care planning software).
* Flexible working hours, willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.
