Teaching Assistant (TA) – Southampton
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our supportive school teams in Fareham. This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone passionate about helping children succeed and thrive in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils individually or in small groups within the classroom
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Help pupils with additional needs, including SEN, social, emotional, or behavioural support
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
About You:
Patient, calm, and compassionate in your approach
Experience working with children in schools or educational settings is preferred
Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practices
Strong communication skills and a team player
Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
