Glasgow - 3 Month Contract - Excellent Experience
Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Engineer / IT Grad, to join our customer to gain invaluable experience of large scale deployments. This will be an initial 4-8 week contract, supporting a hardware deployment covering: Desktops, Laptops & IT Peripherals.
Responsibilities
* Unbox and install laptops and desktops, performing straight swaps with users as required.
* Install equipment to desks and ensure proper power connections.
* Install monitor arms and other peripherals as needed.
* Ensure all installations are completed according to the customer runbook.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and best practices while carrying out installations.
* Maintain accurate records of installations and report any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in IT, ideally with knowledge of installing IT Hardware & peripherals.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation guidelines and procedures
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
