Your responsibilities will include: * Working closely with the production team * Cutting, prepping, drilling, and MIG welding mild steel products * Ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard * Following established procedures and workshop systems * Producing accurate, high‑quality steelwork from draftsmen’s drawings * Maintaining excellent health and safety practices About You We’re looking for someone with strong technical ability and a hands‑on approach. You should have: * Previous experience in steel fabrication * Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication drawings * Solid knowledge of MIG welding processes, weld symbols, and applications * A recognised MIG welding qualification (current or expired) * Understanding of CNC equipment (beneficial but not essential) * Excellent timekeeping and planning skills * Good attention to detail and problem‑solving ability * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * A proactive, team‑focused attitude * Forklift driving experience and confidence loading vehicles * Your own transport * References available on request If you’re passionate about high‑quality steel fabrication and want to be part of a company that values craftsmanship and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.
