The Role
Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives on shaping growth, driving efficiency, and delivering lasting impact?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our senior finance team and play a pivotal role in steering the future direction of the Group.
Working closely with the Group Finance Director and Executive Team, you’ll lead on high-profile projects that drive profitable growth, improve performance, and create sustainable value across the business.
What you'll be doing:
1. Shaping and evolving the Group’s long-term strategic business and financial plans, ensuring they support our growth ambitions and help secure future investment.
2. Leading cost improvement reviews and efficiency initiatives, embracing AI and automation to transform how we work.
3. Providing strategic financial insight that influences key decisions at Board level.
You'll also get involved in major projects such as:
4. Assist in developing a 5-year business and financial plan that underpins both organic and acquisitive growth.
5. Supporting M&A activity through financial evaluation and due diligence.
6. Company valuation and funding projects.
7. Embedding AI automation and improving data visualisation and reporting within finance.
8. Reviewing remuneration and incentive schemes.
9. Implementing accounting and reporting changes under FRS102.
What we are looking for:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong mix of technical accounting, financial planning and analysis, and commercial insight. You’ll also bring:
10. Advanced financial modelling and driver-based planning skills (integrating KPIs, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow).
11. A track record of partnering with senior leaders to proactively deliver meaningful business insights.
12. Experience leading finance system upgrades, automation, or data improvement projects and managing stakeholder engagement through the change process.
13. The confidence to operate with autonomy, take ownership, and drive change.
