An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Newtown Community Mental Health Team, working across the Newtown/Machynlleth areas (base to be agreed at interview).
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment, treatment, and care to a caseload of individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties within the community.
The successful candidate will deliver care in accordance with the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, the Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act 2014, and the Mental Health Act (1983).
Requirements include enthusiasm, self-motivation, flexibility, autonomy, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of evidence-based practices, a recovery-oriented approach, and trauma-informed care are essential.

* Registered Mental Health Professional with the relevant professional body
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Extensive knowledge of mental health issues and legislation

* WARRN, CBT, Psycho-social, and teaching qualifications
