Main Duties
1. Optimize the Depot stock and secure storage for parts
2. Receive all deliveries and expedite the delivery of equipment including offloading, refueling, packing, loading of equipment and managing courier schedules.
3. Maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documentation in M3
4. Order miscellaneous consumables for the warehouse / workshop.
5. Operate the forklift.
6. Provide hands-on support for S&M Engineers upon request
7. Carry out cable & ancillary equipment preparation and general yard/service duties in line with company guidelines and procedures
8. Monitor certification of ancillaries and provide support in maintaining the certification.
9. Take receipt of the fleet reporting off-hire details promptly to the Operations desk,
10. Identify parts and procedures required to complete repairs using M3 timeously.
11. You will be expected to support external contracts, as and when required
12. Role may include safety officer’s responsibilities in the warehouse / workshop.
13. Take ownership of the application of all QHSSE policies.
Specific Skills:
14. Electrical and mechanical background is an asset
15. Strong oral and written communication skills

19. Able to perform accurate measurement and basis calculations

Physical requirements:
21. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and climb machine ladders
22. Noise levels low to moderate
23. Must work outside and be subject to adverse weather conditions
24. Able to lift 23kg on a regular basis
25. Able to lift 50kg (max) incidentally
26. Frequent bending, standing, lifting and ongoing physical activity
Knowledge:
27. Knowledge of Generators, TC & Associated equipment
28. Working experience of mechanical and electrical / electronic systems.

31. To provide specified information accurately, reliably and timeously.
Education & Experience:
32. Minimum of a 2-year engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
33. Minimum of three years’ experience in a concurrent job
34. Driver’s license
35. Experience in handling truck-trailer combinations
36. ADR trained
37. Health and Safety certified
38. First aid certified
39. Crane Certified
40. Forklift certified
41. Certificate to be able to work on heights
